The School's Facilities

    Adequate learning is one of the missions of Congressional National High School, prior to that, the schools provides different facilities that ensure good quality of education for the students.

    Discipline, honesty, integrity and perseverance are things that our principal, Mr. Manny Ressureccion wants to be implemented in the hearts of every congressionalian. A good home for work for a great principal must be ideal exactly like the way our principal’s office is. Calmness and silence roams around the four corners of the room that makes it the best place to work on.  

   

    Our school is known as the Best ICT Implementing School  in the whole Cavity. We have two computer laboratories and over a hundred computer units working. The Com Labs are available to accommodate the needs of the students, the computers can be used for project making and for researches.

     The school also has an Audio Visual Room (AVR) that is sometimes used for film viewing or for the small programs that the school handles.

     CNHS also offers a library that has different books that will surely help the students. It is a perfect place for the students to study because it is peaceful and a quiet place.

     The science laboratory of our school is located at the science building. Hands-on activities or experiments are done here for the students to have a face-to-face encounter with regards to the topics that needs an effective visual representation of the topic they are discussing.

     Culinary arts room, another new facility of our school, is located at the back of the local school building. It is a big kitchen that has ovens, stoves, tables and other equipments needed by the culinary students. Using this facility, students can learn more through hands-on activities with appropriate tools needed. 

     Another thing that the school is proud of is having several CCTV cameras around the campus. Some of those are the two computer laboratories which have one camera each, and the school canteen which has three. The purpose of this project is to monitor every move of the students and the teachers as well inside the school premises.

    Congressional National High School is a truly student-friendly school, CNHS promises to give students sufficient learning and the best facilities.

History

      In the city of Dasmariñas, Cavite, there stood a public school that gained its successes one by one through hard work. Its name proved to be the second home of the students and that’s the Congressional National High School.

     The very school’s condition before can be considered as novice; simple, small, not enough educational materials and little percentage of students. However, as the years passed, that all changed. As progress became evident and was witness by many, and all who saw seek to achieved the same. Among all public schools, our schools’ image was a par with private schools which not only in terms of appearances but with its ability as well. The most notable achievement the school acquired was in the field of ICT which was hailed as the ICT Center of Cavite. With two COM labs available, the number of computers that are over a hundred ,and all are open for all students who want to learn more than what they know. Everything was made possible because of our principal, Mr. Emmanuel L, Resurreccion and the ever so hard working teachers of Congressional National High School.

      This school is our pride. We are truly honored to be one of the students who made history with the school. We do not regret for ever choosing this school for this school will always be our home. A home where we belonged.

They are the one whom we meet and see in school everyday, wearing uniform just like some “kind” students, one who teaches us the beauty behind those we treat as torturing, boring, unexciting things we must know, the one who love and care for us despite of the naughtiness, noisiness and sometimes disrespect that we had, they are piece of our life, of our journey …

    Some students hate to hear the word “teacher”. They’ll say that, “Ah..si Ma’am ano…yung ganto...yung ganyan…” “Ibinagsak ako niyan eh..” “Ka-boring iyan magturo” and many more… But don’t we think that without them, we’ll not able to learn things that we coundn’t know just in the four corners of our house? They are like precious gems, treasure!

    CNHS TEACHERS!!!

        of them cultivated us, Congressionalians, to harvest such knowledge that we can use in our future. They molded us how to be good citizens, model youth in our own way and to be productive persons. CNHS Teachers endowed us the utmost gift in our life- love, wisdom, care and the greatest of all…the clation of humanity!

    CNHS Teachers lead us the way, the way of believin’ and nourishing the high school life, not just in studies but also in the religious terms. They embossed us the Eucharist and also the moral values that we must thrive in every hour of our lives. They are lucky, but we must say that we’re luckier than them, ‘cause WE HAVE THEM! 

    if their task is to prepare us to be future leaders, they succeed! They did it more than enough.

Congressional National High School: ICT Center of Cavite

     Congressional National High School is well known throughout Cavite for its quality education especially in developing information technology. A lot of students proved that CNHS is the only public school that can provide enough technology (as well as internet access) for better learning. It is true that the school have computers that can be freely used by students for research, presentations, blogging and online discussions. The school also developed an independent website for students and teachers.

     In the school's strategic location at Via Verde Village in San Agustin II, it was able to reach out students who are eager to experience the achool's exciting gateway to learning.

     The website includes the school's historical background, the vision, mission and other features regarding the school's development.

     Visiting the site is the most frequent way to inform students about the school's events and announcements.

CNHS Moodle

     It is the major component of the school's website and its pride that is frequently used in educational purposes. Through internet, the students can engage to online discussions, interact with each other using presentations and articles. The school provided the students an individual account that is strictly used for educational purposes. The thing that makes this program very useful is the ability of the school to provide computers with wireless fidelity.

CNHS Onwards

    CNHS, a school built in the year 1998, a school like a rose that is just starting to bloom in the society.  Despite of this, Congressional National High School is striving to work in order to achieve the victory of the century. Who knows what this school can be in the future?

     As of the present, it’s amazing to say that it’s on the halfway to triumph. Beyond of this onward success, it reveals the brightness and creativity not only of the faculty but of the students that the school develops. With the help of each mind of the student, the desire for progress has been mold.

     Honesty, Integrity and Perseverance, the three virtue of the school also contribute to achieve the peak of our dream. Students who are honest to do the sole purpose of the school lead to good things and together with the integrity comes the oneness of the school and for the completion of the recipe of success, the perseverance is done to do the hardship to attain it. Being the ICT Center and the City Division Office of CNHS in Cavite, the proofs of its success and the yearly development makes the school blaze.

The Branches That Bore Fruit

   Congressional National High School is like a tree, the school itself is the tree. Growing wider and bigger,its progress is now etched in the history of our four walls. But of course it wouldn't be called a tree without its branches and leaves, which we can all compare to the very foundation of our school itself. We can compare the teachers as branches and the students as leaves. Why you ask?..
   Here's the reason, the branches are like the teachers because they are the very hands of our school.They are the reason why the school is known to be great by all. They do what they are known to do and that's to teach, but they do it not only because it is there profession, no it is more than that..it is because they too also want to impart what they have learned to the very future of our country.. which is Us. As students we partially understand what they have encountered but we should also keep in mind that they too also started more as students, they have taste the sweetness and bitterness of life itself and its blend created what we know them to be. And as students, as the very leaves of our school we grow into a better person with their help. They never leave us even if we are as mischievous as a child, they give us what we need for they are also our parents. Always thinking the best for us unconditionally and undeniably all the time. 
   The tree along with its long branches and lushes leaves, always with the end of the year bore fruit into the hearts of their students. We will soon leave imparting with us the very hope of our teachers that when we see them again, it will be as successful and happy as them. Like any parent it is for their child, the tree will always bear fruit for a long time.
